END OF $UMMER CALI4NIA TOUR

Hey cool kids. We just got back from our mini Cali tour a few days ago and it was completely amazing. California kids are the coolest (I should know because I am one originally. Uh yeauh suckaz). But seriously, it was so good to finally see everyone... well not everyone, but we'll be back ya hear! Real soon. The energy at these shows was off the chain. I expect big things from you guys in the 4ture.

First I'd like to tell you guys about our major accomplishment. We watched the entire first season of the O.C. in the van on the trip. That was like 27 episodes in 5 car days. In our last day of the trip we powered out and drove from Sacramento to Seattle, cramming in 12 episodes of the O.C., half of Atonement (the DVD stopped working), a little of Jimi Hendrix at Isle of Wight, and a good few hours of Halo 3. (Huge props to our drivers Brian and Nick!). See, I had never watched the O.C. when it was on TV--I thought it was some dumb teen soap opera-- but SNAP, I fell in love. It is so good!


Here is us watching the O.C. at dusk as we pass Mt. Shasta. So much beauty.

Anyway, we're working on some more shows soon soon (we certainly haven't forgotten about you, Seattle). Some new tunes are brewing. Things are great. You guys are great.

We're not a Portland band, but I feel some kinship with our neighbors to the south. Shaun's brother, Copy, is from there, and we've played there a bunch. It feels like a second home. summer

hey everybody

well, summer is coming to an end quite soon, but it was extremely fun while it lasted. we loved saying hi to everyone at bumbershoot! it was great to see you. we'll work on playing next year! write to them and tell them you want us! what r peoples favorite summer festival acts of the year? speak up dont be shy. my favs have to be !!! and paramore. no jokes. i'm a sucker for the crunk funk and girls who sing in rock bands.

heyyooo! guess what/ we have some shows coming up in SAN FRANCISCO and ANAHEIM!!! Yaaaahhh!! we are super excited to be coming down there. we love it. SEE YOU THERE, RIGHT??? i think we're working on adding more last minute shows in some other west coast cities... but if we don't make it this time, we will be back soon for sure!!!

tonight while watching death cab i could feel the cold salty seattle air creeping in over the trees and i knew fall was right around the corner. i'm about ready to break out the jackets. it's cool with me. we're gonna work on having a big big seattle show sometime in the coming months. it's been a while and we miss you and we want to rock u intimately. stay tuned.
