I just wanted to share a cool lil story with you guys. When we played in San Francisco with the Faint last November, Shaun spoted a guy in the audience dressed in a lab coat and goggles (just like how the lead singer of the Faint dresses), and Shaun said to him during our set, "Nice Faint costume!!!" and it was cool and all. That guy wrote to us on myspace last week saying he was making the journey from San Francisco to Seattle with his friend for our Holiday Spectacular. And they did! They made it some 850 miles for our show! Pretty impressive if you ask me.

For the rest of you out there, don't worry about making long road trips to see us (unless you want to!); we'll be coming to you in your city in 09! More cities, more countries, more fun. Let's dooooo thisssssss!!!!! Have a good New Year's Eve!
Who else has Moleskine lust? Those beautiful little black (and now sometimes colored) leather (and now sometimes cardboard) notebooks... so smooth... so fresh smelling. The possibilities of endless ideas captured in beautiful tiny acid-free pages. It is all too much sometimes. I confess I have many more Moleskines than I am using lying around the house. There are so many different kinds I can't help but "need" them for all different aspects of my life. The new red ones are so beautiful. Can NPSH be sponsored by Moleskine? Please?

Hey everyone,
We were holding out, hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, but we and the Vera Project have made the decision to postpone Saturday's Holiday Spectacular due to the current and forthcoming extreme weather conditions.
But, wait! Before you get all sad, THE GOOD NEWS: We have already rescheduled the show (still with Starfucker!) for one week from Saturday-- December 27th. All December 20th tickets will be honored.
I know it's a bummer, but considering the icy roads, buses that won't run, and a National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning (definition: A significant winter storm or hazardous winter weather is occurring, imminent, or likely, and is a threat to life and property) starting at 4:00 PM Saturday, we just couldn't take the chance at anyone getting injured, buried, or frozen or killed on their way to the show. And we love you guys! We wouldn't want that to happen. On top of the already icy roads that are not going to melt by Saturday, there is an 80% chance of even more snow (4 - 8 inches!?!) arriving right before we would be going onstage. And as much fun as it sounds to be forced to have a giant sleep-over in the Vera Project with those of you that would have showed up tomorrow, we gotta look out for everyone's safety and ability to come rock out with us.

This Saturday we have our first ever NPSH HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR, a show at which we will rock the stage at The Vera Project and be merry and you will dance and be merry, etc. It's gonna be FUN. We're also super excited that a band we've been listening a lot to lately is opening the show-- *$tarf*cker*!

5. Wear awesome holiday sweaters/shirts/pants/lights/menorahs. Don't pass out though.
6. It might be snowy, but don't let that stop you from coming! It only enhances the holiday vibes.

We just got back into Seattle tonight! It is so cold. They are saying it might snow! That would be amazing now that we are home where our warm coats are. It was freezing cold in San Fran with our travel-lite sweatshirts. Yikes! Anyway, we just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out to see us in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The shows were soooo much fun and we are so glad we could share the magic moments with you. And CSS! Massive love goes out to them and all their crew! They're nicest bunch of people you will ever meet. Thanks guys! We'll have a bunch of video and pictures to put up from our trip in the next few days or so. If you've got any pictures too, send them our way! Now next up is our HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR at the Vera Project one week from today. It is going to be funnnn to the max.
