GREATEST DANCE VIDEO OF THE SUMMER

Wow... wow... I wish I had seen this in real life! One man brings the dance party to Sasquatch 2009. Give it a little time to kick in...

We're *flattered* that this beautiful madness is set to our song.

I was at Seattle's Folklife Festival on Monday, trying to get my festival-food-party on, and I decided what I wanted was one of those GIANT corndogs. So I looked all over and I thought I had found them because this sign said "Corndog 4.00" and I thought Oh, four dollars, that must be an above average sized corndog and I got in line. But I soon realized this was not the case at all, as multiple people walked away from the stall with completely average sized corndogs! Can you believe this? FOUR DOLLARS FOR A REGULAR SIZED CORNDOG? Suffice to say, I took my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, there were no oversized corndogs anywhere at this festival. In fact I ended up getting undersized corndogs, but for a reasonable price.

Learn from this cautionary tale: don't wait in line for an oversized corndog unless you are sure it is an oversized corndog, because it might be a regular corndog with a ridiculous price.
Very important this festival season.

Sasquatch 2009!

Sasquatch was so much fun! It felt way too short for us... we arrived and were the last artist to check in at like 4:00. We played at 9:00. Holycrrrrappppppp the dance tent was insane that night. Definitely one of, if not THE most enthusiastic crowd that I've ever seen. So fun. The security guards and staff had to lean against the guard rail the entire show to keep everyone from breaking it down. Make 'em work yeah! It was my first time to the Gorge and it was beautiful. Stunning. We got to see some of Aziz Ansari, Zach Galifianakis, M83, Of Montreal, and Jane's Addiction. It was pretty weird eating right next to Dave Navaro in the artist dining area. Of Montreal was in there too. David is still at the Squatch as I type, having a blast as you can tell from his enthusiastic tweets. Funtimes. Hope we'll be back in the fuuuuture.

Liam's 'stach is getting out of hand.

Backstage Sasquatch
This isn't a picture of it, but there were SO MANY tour busses backstage. More than I've ever seen in close proximity to each other. Like at least 20 or so lumbering beasts.

AZIZ
Aziz in the building.

Dance Tent Insanity
Dance tent insanity. "The dance tent took my soul, dude" - Overheard some duder on the phone.

DR00L

We've been playing with a Moog Voyager in the studio... it is so beautiful and phatt sounding. I love it. It is my next thing for the NPSH wishlist. The white finish is a nice touch. Plus you can choose the backlight color. Orange? Red? Purple?

Lonely is a man...

Claire introduced me to this song. It is realllly good. Once that chorus kicks in, it's like, wow. Plus his name is Englebert Humperdink. Enjoy.

On a related note: why don't they make cool looking mics anymore? I mean, his mic in this vid is solid GOLD.

I was just reading in Nylon about the most silly lip gloss on the market.

When you flip it upside down, their clothes come off, like those pens. But that's not even the silliest part. Supposedly if you rub the lip gloss it releases pheromones into the air, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard so I have to have one.
