I was just watching the video for "Jam" on demand. The last two minutes, in which Michael Jackson teaches Michael Jordan how to dance (including moonwalking instructions straight from the master himself) are pretty magical.
Here's the behind the scenes that has a lot of that in it, but it's more magical if you watch the actual long version of the video. For some reason it doesn't exist in embed-able form on youtube, but it's there to watch if you search for it.
I like how he calls it a "short film" instead of a "music video" :)

One afternoon in Boston after we had just woken up at 5:00PM (that's what staying up until 6:00AM and driving 4 hours will get you), and after Brian our tour manager had brought us fresh cups of New England clam chowder from Jacob Wirth's (highly recc'd), we ran into a blinged out dude walking up the the valet as we were pulling out from our hotel. Our van stuffed full of gear clearly indicated that we were a band, and he asked, "Y'all in a band?" and we said yes. This entrepreneurial young man then handed us his CD and told us he was called PLA and he had the hookup in Texas. We didn't think too much of it at the time, but the more we listened, first song on his album slowly started to become our anthem on the tour. We didn't have any way of listening to iPods, so we were listening to a lot of CDs. ANYWAY, I just wanted to let you guys in on our little "inside" song that we would blast in the van on our long drives. I bet none of your friends have heard this club banger. Please enjoy PRESTO by P-L-A. Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaauuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh boiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!
Best line: "I don't give a f*ck, now the money in the air!!!"

Seriously, one of my favorite things in life is getting new shoes, and when Addidas has 30% of? It would have been a shame not to.

This amazing piece of filmmaking and musical artistry was recently uncovered on the internet. I swear, none of us knew this existed until we caught Liam watching it on his computer. Busted! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you YEAH RIGHT ROCK:
BONUS:
We used to cover this song. Great memories.

Our east coast adventure is nearing an end! Only like a week left. We are done with our Baltimore and Boston rounds and they were both great. We ate at the coooolest restaurant in Baltimore called Paper Moon the first time we played, then we tried to go back the second time but it was CLOSED! Probably due to power outages from the crazy random storm that happened that day. But we ate some delicious food from Trinidad instead.
And we just got back from Boston today, where we played and stayed last night. We <3 Boston! Our Sound d00d Brian went to College there so he showed us the sights.
There are a couple more Boston pix on flickr if you care to look.
We had today off and tomorrow off too, so we took the opportunity to hang with Liam's fam and also get Shaun's head staples out.
Oh, did we forget to mention that Shaun had to get staples in his head? Our bad. That's just because we have lots of video footage of the ordeal, and we don't won't to spoil your appetite. It will be a tale better told visually.
Love, Us

I am up very late, watching Adult Swim and packing to switch hotels tomorrow morning, and they just showed a commercial for the show at Santo's Party House in NYC on the 11th! It's a show presented by Adult Swim, so that makes sense. But our name popped up for one second real small at the bottom of Cartoon Network, and it was awesome.
We've had an eventful last few days. We'll tell the tale soon! But now it's 3:30 in the morning, get to bed. Unless you're on the west coast. Then... go watch Jimmy Fallon or something!

We played Baltimore for the first time EVER last night. It was awesome! The people were great, and totally ready to dance, and the venue had like two whole floors of backstage, and a very big and clean bathroom, which says a lot about a place.
We are staying in New Jersey for 3 weeks, and sadly but truly there is NOTHING within walking distance where we are. I tried, all I found was car dealerships and mysterious office buildings. And a pool store, but I don't think they will let us test their merchandise.
My roomie Sophia (Merch Girl extraordinaire) and I just woke up 45 minutes ago.
We got some cereal. We were intrigued by "Fruity Cheerios." But they just tasted like Trix, which I don't like very much. Honey Bunches of Oats with Chocolate were the big winners in the best cereal competition.
Now it's off to the grocery store and WASHINGTON DC!!!!!
